DinkLink is a social presence app designed to bring people together in real life, without surveillance, inboxes, or digital baggage. It’s not about followers, likes, or endless DMs—it’s about creating space for real, face-to-face interaction in a crowded world.
At its core, DinkLink is powered by Bluetooth and runs entirely on your device. It creates a temporary local mesh of nearby users—like an ephemeral database that lives only as long as you’re present. Your information is never uploaded to a server, never stored in the cloud, and never harvested. The company (that’s us) can’t see your data, even if we wanted to.
Unlike most social platforms, DinkLink doesn’t include messaging—even when there’s a match. Why? Because you’re in the same room. If you want to say hello, just walk over and say hello. This avoids the creepiness of being bombarded with messages from someone standing five feet away. It encourages natural interaction, while still giving you a low-pressure way to know who else is around and some hints on how to find them.
DinkLink’s Game Mode turns presence into a playful social puzzle. Instead of showing names, it displays anonymized clues like age, gender, interests, and rough distance. You get to find and identify real people in the room based on shared traits and curiosity—not swipes and photos. It’s social sleuthing with consent baked in.
DinkLink doesn’t track you, store your history, or market your data. It’s just here to help people meet—in a fun, spontaneous, respectful way.
DinkLink is free for the first 1,694 users—our "Founders Club." After that, it’s just $1/month, cancel anytime. That’s it. No ads. No tracking. No upsells.
We believe that charging a small amount helps reinforce what we stand for: you are not the product. Your attention and data aren’t for sale. The dollar is a signal that you’re supporting a platform built for people, not algorithms.
