Why DinkLink?

In a crowded café, a tech meetup, a late-night bar or even a train carriage, two people could be five feet apart—each carrying a spark the other needs—and never speak. One might be a brilliant coder. The other, a world-class designer. But without that nudge, that shared signal of presence, the moment passes. The spark is lost.

DinkLink Visual

DinkLink was built to change that.

Inspired by the legendary pairing of Jobs and Wozniak—who together made a little dent in the universe—DinkLink is a proximity-powered connection app designed for serendipity. It helps people discover who’s nearby without giving too much away. No swiping, no photos, no likes. Just a simple sense of who’s close, and why they might matter.

DinkLink is powered entirely by Bluetooth. It creates an ephemeral local mesh that exists only while you’re present. Your profile disappears when you walk away. Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is stored. Even we—the creators—can’t see who you are.

There’s no messaging, no algorithms, no attention traps. Just enough presence to say:

"I’m here. And I’m someone worth meeting."

DinkLink is for coders, creators, founders, introverts, and anyone who believes that important connections don’t always happen online—but they should still happen.
